Schools Travel Insurance
Here at Tours 4 Schools we want teachers and their school groups to have complete peace of mind before, during and after their school tour. We have a huge network of regional, national and international agents who help us to create safe and exciting trips and tours for school groups throughout the UK, Europe and the wider world. All flights booked through Tours 4 Schools are ATOL protected and we insure all money given to us through IGI Insurance. For more details please read our Financial protection page.
So now you know we have your tour money protected, let's talk about your pupils.
We believe that safety and enjoyment are equally important when travelling with Tours 4 Limited. It is therefore one of our terms and conditions of booking that you have adequate travel insurance in place before you travel; cover must include emergency medical expenses, personal accident and repatriation. In addition, we strongly recommend that you include baggage, personal liability and cancellation cover.
Tours 4 Limited has teamed up with Endsleigh Insurance Services Limited to offer our travellers a range of excellent policies to choose from. Each policy includes:-
- emergency medical expenses
- personal accident
- repatriation
- baggage
- personal liability
- overseas legal expenses
- cancellation or curtailment charges
- over 80 sports and activities covered as standard
NB It is advisable to take out your travel insurance at the time of booking your trip as cover will commence for pre-departure cancellation from the policy issue date. This will, therefore, provide cover should you have to cancel your trip for an insured reason such as illness or serious accident preventing you from travelling.

We advise all teachers and group leaders to read the government information site 'Health Advice for Travellers' before you travel. Whether you already have travel insurance or not you and your group should apply for a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) which has replaced the E111 form. Get down to your local Post Office for an application form or find more information on the EHIC on the Health Advice For Travellers' website. The cards take around 3 weeks to be delivered so please apply well in advance.
